What a beautiful Sunday this has been! I am getting your newsletter ready this evening because tomorrow afternoon at 2 I have been asked to speak at the Chartiers-Houston Public Library about the history of quilting. I am going to approach the topic through some of the myths that have surrounded the history of quilting. I am also going to take a few of my grandmother's quilts, because that is really the true history of quilting that we each have in our lives. I hope they enjoy it.
I do have several things to tell you so let's get started...What is happening at the Pine Tree Quilt Shop.
Christmas in July!!!
The Christmas in July Sale begins Tuesday, July 20 and runs through Saturday, July 31. Last year as I recovered from Covid 19 in November, I didn't feel like bringing out too much fabric. That is different this year!! There are several bolts of fabric that range are 15%, 20%, 25% and 40% off. Karen even found some flat folds that will be $4.99 per yard. (These are in the bathroom. LOL)
I hate to add a Bah Humbug to the sale, but the new 2021 Christmas fabrics will not be on sale. Please note that is will be the last planned sale for 2021! Oh, there may be a few surprises along the way.
Some of the fabric on sale is on the website for my friends who like to order, but not all of it is there. The following pictures will show you what is on sale and if you would like to order any of this fabric you may e-mail me at the above address or call the shop. Let's see what is available....
